New York is nothing without its creative people. They’re the reason this city is worth living in. For the last three years I’ve been embedded in one corner of that world, New York’s independent design scene, meeting some of the most brilliant people in this city.
In “A Week in May”, I follow New York’s design community as it gathers for its biggest week of the year. Set against New York City Design Week, designers, gallerists, and curators show up across the city for exhibitions, fairs, and parties, from Tribeca to Red Hook. It’s an inside look into the people and places of New York City’s independent design scene.
